Society does not want to see minorities succeedEspecially Blacks who are in so much need
Poverty is an issue for us and counseling has become a must
We become teenage mothers and quit school
We have no one to guide us and that's not cool
They rate us in statistics and judge us by the majority
We do not get a turn to learn and earn and we get no priority
They might call us ghetto, Low-Income and use other racial comments
They hate to view us as important as Lawyers, Doctors,or Sergeants
We go through embarrassment & sometimes even through harassment
What they do not know is that we are,in fact,intelligent
I would like to see my people accomplish more in the game
To show our cruel society we are not all the blame
We need to stick together to prove we are the same
And of our culture,we have no shame
