Not far from the edge drunken without drink 

The moisture of a storm, a passionate hot breeze 

Sons of the desert take me to the brink 

Above the canyons of tomorrow where I see 

The future freeze.

Like a bird on the wing in the wind stream 

Freedom-flying from this momentary glance 

I feel the pull of the moon like a sweet dream 

When first awakened from a temporary trance. 

Then by the winged feet of daybreak’s deathless dawn 

I heard the singer cry life’s never-ending song:

“Youth that’s spent in hast soon tires of the race 

and the more you turn your back the more 

you’re face-to-face.” 

Just A Verse Is All You Get

Night's spent... Dark skies until the sunrise.... 
heightened senses with impaired vision but the view, breathtaking... 
Prepare to bare witness... sights seen like dreams but eyes open, frozen in time.... 
My guiding light golden, shine... Behold the wonders of the world through words spoken... 
Chosen are those who have chosen but chose wisely.... Finding solace in confined spaces.... 
Once consumed with the scent of roses, now nothing left but traces.... of broken flower vases...
basic blameless basis came from a paint brush stroke... An art piece... An Artist... farfetched regardless... My departure is far spent, Daylight turned from darkness.

Love Lost

I was lonely, I was lost
I knew there was happiness, but at what cost?
I had happiness once
And now it seemed to be lost.

I had given out, I had given up
I really didn't care much if the sun came up
I was sad, I was a mess
Very uncaring, and even more depressed.

Staring out a smeared window into the distance. 
Looking for something that I felt...no, that I knew existed. 
It was a love that my mind had consumed. 
A sudden instance that I knew I couldn't get from you. 
See, in his arms is where my heartbeat found it's tune. 
And when my body was wrapped in his 
there was a sudden moment of a love brand new. 
And when we kissed, my emotions I felt. 
And I knew deep within, this couldn't be provided by no one else. 
And then what I thought truly existed became a distant memory. 
And the tears I cried, they alone couldn't set me free. 
This broken heart I carried with me through the day and on into my sleep. 
The words he spoke as he left is that, no one could ever love me...
not the way he did or could even make me feel as good. 
And then I found that what I longed for, only you could provide. 
A love that'll be forever not just this lifetime. 
I've looked all over trying to find love in the only places I knew. 
Until I realized that there's no other love, greater than you!

Healed Hurt

I am hurt so I hurt and that is not fair to hurt the people who really do care I am tierd and in pain sometimes my heart feels slain

Sometimes my mind feels cluttered

Sometimes my spirit is like a tossed salad

Sometimes my body is like a two week old rose

My speech makes no sense

I hurt so I hurt and that is not fair because all guys are not the same and I know that there is one out there

One who will set my soul to another level of non stop flowing of a valcanoes lava

I Need

I need a fairytale, a world wind, a prince, a white night, a gladiator, a lion, a wolf in man's clothing!

I need a hero, a superman, a ray of light, someone to make me feel this life, to lift me high above the clouds, to unblind my eyes to see the sunrise.

I need a crush, a love, a lustful lust, a simple touch, a feel that's way to much, someone strong to hold in my clutch.

I need a kiss, a wet kiss, a deep juicy kiss, one that when he's gone, I would truly miss.

I need hands, hands that will touch me everywhere, hands that are large or small, I don't care!

I need to be held, held tight and never let go, hands to touch my body, sometimes nice and sometimes slow.

Feet exhausted from walking this thin line, Captivating my heart and restraining my mind, reminiscing as the last bit of sand vanishes into the identical remains beneath, guess love has run out of time! Forewarned in advance with Premonition, Fatigued with paying attention so now I'm done listening!!! Escaping my mouth the word Goodbye because I’d rather Let Love Die than give love a try! Now if I said it then I meant it, Days into hours and hours into minutes, to make a long story short this is how I’ll end it.

Right around the corner it sneaks up,

Christmas time;

People shopping for presents galore,

The perfect give for those they adore,

Through the store not many smiles,

Did someone take the gift they desire,

Is it the gifts we treasure so dear,

The hustle and bustle this time of year,

The idea of happiness that should fill the air,

And the coming of a New Year,

Well no,

It's the shed of a smile to those we hold dear,

The excitement in the eye of the children,

The coming together as family and friend,

For the smile of a stranger,

Just caused by saying hi,

The giving and caring,

The loving the sharing,

For the one born just for US!!!!!!
